How does the email verifier work?
It checks syntax, resolves MX records, performs an SMTP mailbox check without sending an email, and flags disposable and role-based addresses — then returns a deliverability verdict.
What about catch-all domains?
Catch-all is its own status. The domain accepts every local-part, so we do not set deliverable: true and we do not call the mailbox confirmed. Treat it as unconfirmed, not as valid.
Do you charge for unknown?
No. If the mailbox cannot be probed, charged is 0. A guess is not a product.
