Hunter's core product is discovery: give it a domain, get back every address it knows. That is a different job from ours and it is why most people buy Hunter.
Worth knowing before you choose on price — their credits work out at about $0.017 each against our $0.0032, so if you are actually buying verification, you are paying discovery rates for it.
If you need the directory, not the verdict
Their index is years of crawling and accumulated corrections, and there is no shortcut to that.
We do not publish a comparable directory and are not trying to — we check the address you already have, against the mailbox and the domain's SPF, DMARC and DKIM posture, for a fifth of the per-credit price.
