One credit, the full check
A single credit runs the whole email engine: RFC syntax parsing, DNS and MX resolution, a live SMTP mailbox probe, disposable and role-address detection, catch-all detection, and a deliverability score. There is no cheaper tier that quietly skips the SMTP step.
Credits are universal. The same balance runs phone, IP, domain, sanctions and company lookups, so you are not buying a per-channel bundle you have to guess at in advance.
What makes verification cheap is not the price per check. It is not paying to send to addresses that were never going to land: a bounced campaign costs sender reputation, and reputation costs deliverability on the addresses that were fine.
