Veriastra vs Telesign

Telesign Is an Identity Platform. Veriastra Is a Validation API.

Telesign offers phone, SMS and identity verification aimed at enterprise programmes. Veriastra covers the validation layer of that, self-serve at 1 credit a lookup, alongside email, IP and domain.

Self-serve from the first call

No enterprise agreement required to run your first lookup.

Numbering-plan data we host

Format, region, rate centre and assigned carrier resolve from our own copy at no per-call charge; a live HLR query is bought from a network and billed separately, which we say rather than hide.

One API beyond phone

Email, IP, domain, sanctions and company data on the same balance.

When Telesign is the right call

Where Telesign is the better buy

Every product has a job it is built for. These are the jobs where Telesign is the answer and we are not, said plainly so you can tell in two minutes whether the rest of this page applies to you.

Carrier relationships we do not have

They are part of a telecoms group and their scores draw on signals that come from being inside the network rather than reading its public numbering plan. SIM tenure, subscriber status and similar signals are theirs, not ours.

Verification delivery, not just data

They send the SMS and the voice OTP as well as scoring the number. We answer questions about a number; we do not deliver messages to it.

Enterprise procurement

Contracts, SLAs, security review packets and named account teams. A regulated buyer often needs that before the data question is even reached, and we are not there yet.
