1Lookup alternatives

If you are weighing up a move off 1Lookup, here are the options that actually exist, what to check before you commit, and the cases where staying put is the right call.

Why people look

Common reasons to shop around

  • You want to know which engines are run in-house and which are resold, and get a straight answer.
  • You need results you can defend later, with verifiable evidence rather than a screenshot.
  • You need sanctions and company screening, which are not in their catalogue.

Email, IP, domain, phone geo/carrier, sanctions and SEC company data run on our own infrastructure, with a signed receipt on every result.

1Lookup

Wider catalogue on the people-data side: contact append, prospect search, audience intelligence. If those products are the reason you are there, we do not replace them.

Single-purpose vendors

If in practice you use one product heavily, a specialist in that product will usually beat any bundle on price and depth.

Before you switch

Three things worth checking

Owned versus resold

Resold engines mean price and availability depend on someone else's contract. It is a fair question to ask any bundle vendor.

Evidence you can verify

If a verdict may be disputed, check whether the result can be verified independently after the fact.

The products you actually use

Bundles are priced on breadth. Count what you really call before paying for a catalogue.

Moving across

What the switch actually involves

  1. 01

    Prices, side by side

Measured on their pricing page on 3 Aug 2026: their Starter is $4.95 per 1,000 core lookups against our $3.16, their Growth $3.52 against $2.49, Professional $3.20 against $2.16, Enterprise $2.00 against $1.50. Same credit idea, lower number at every tier.

  2. 02

The endpoints line up almost one to one

Phone, email, IP and domain validation take the same shape of request and return the same core fields, so the move is an authorisation header and a base URL for most integrations.

  3. 03

    Credits behave differently

Theirs expire after three months (their pricing FAQ). Ours roll over for as long as the subscription is active, which matters if your volume is seasonal rather than steady.

  4. 04

What you must keep them for

Skip trace, mobile finder, property lookup, social profile checks and job-change monitoring are resold people-data products we have chosen not to sell. If your workflow depends on those, this is not a full move.

  5. 05

    Run both for a week

Send the same traffic to both and diff the verdicts. Ours carries a signed receipt on every answer, so the comparison itself is checkable afterwards rather than resting on a screenshot.

When to buy something else

We deliberately do not sell contact append, prospect search or audience intelligence. If those are your core use case, we are not a replacement and are not trying to be.
